Ohhhhhh it's my 600 POST here on the BLOG!!!
Be sure and stay around til the end of the post for a chance to WIN something!!! yipeeeeeee!!!
But first...let's make something beautiful and simple!!
a fun Paper Blessed Bunting!!!
What an awesome declaration!!!
We Are Blessed!
We sure are...and you are too!!
Supplies:
Ink, Alphabet Stamps, Old book pages, Ribbon (or I used Baker's Twine), Hole Punch, Paper Cutter, Ruler, Pencil, Glue Dots, Vintage Buttons (optional!)
Let's Create!!!
Pull old sheets out of a discarded book...
Take the width of the book pages and measure and mark at the half point. (mine was 4.25" and so I marked at 2 1/8")
Cut from the top corner to the middle point, and cut the other side identically to form a triangle.
Stamp your letters on each triangle. (It's okay to have an edge smudge...we'll fix it later!!)
So fun!!!!
Grab your hole punch, punch on either side of the top of your triangle, and thread your twine through the holes...
I like to thread it from the back so you can see the twine on the front. I also used little glue dots on the top corners to keep the letters of each word together.
Grab some fun antique buttons and glue dots and place them over the parts you stamped that you don't like...(out of sight, out of mind, right?)
Then Voila!!! It's done!! Hang it up on your favorite mantle or your fave wall!!
Now, for your goodies!!!
Well, because it's my 600th post, I wanted to give you the makings of your own bunting!!!
So one Randomly drawn person who comments here will get a bunting kit!!!
Included is 12 pieces of antique book paper, some baker's twine, and 12 antique buttons!!!
{stamps, ink, and hole punch not included!!}
