Ohhhhh so many fun ways to celebrate life!! And today, I'm very excited to be celebrating the new fabric line that Amanda Herring has just released!! Delighted!!!
I have a lot in store for you today, so be sure and read through the whole party post!! wow!!! There are special tidbits all the way through, but there's a special something something at the end!! :)
To begin, how about some fun projects I've created using this FABULOUS fabric line?
Using my big shot and a 3-D flower die, I started with this...
and it became this:
After seeing these and playing with them, a certain 17-yo told me that she was never buying hair things again...that I would be in charge of making them for her from now on!! Fun!!!!

I started with this:
(You can get one of these panels right here in Julie's store!!)
And I made this:
(I will have more detailed pics coming soon!! promise!!)

Here are three projects I did which I will elaborate more on later!!
Can this fabric get any better???? I don't think so!! wow!!!

And my friend, Brooke, has inspired me with her ETSY store!! I was inspired to make a table topper with this fabulous fabric!
I am a huge fan of vintage buttons!! Especially with Delighted...perfect combination!!
BTW, the cupcakes are not included with the fabric!! Sorry!! I got mine at the Sweet Boutique in SugarLand, TX!! LOVE!!!

how about a little pillow? with ruffles??
super easy to make!! Especially if you have a new ruffler foot (like I just got at the Pacific International Quilt Festival last weekend!!)!! I'll have a mini tute up for this pillow soon!!
___________________________
Here's a fun, random project that I whipped up in no time!! (no making fun of my quilting exercises!! even good cellists still play their scales!!)
I love to practice my free motion quilting...
I love this reference to the scripture about how God cares for us even more than he does for the birds of the air and the lilies in the field {matt 6:25-42}!!
still working on my "echo" quilting...it'll get better and better the more I practice...you know what they say, "Practice makes perfect!!"
___________________________
and how about some Christmas action?? I'm sure you noticed the red and green dominance in these fabrics...and Ohhhhhhhh, this red and green combo is the perfect Christmas inspiration!!
Fun raw edged ruffle pillow!! I am loving this stocking die from Stampin' Up! Perfect for fabric!! And I created a little Christmas tree ornament out of my scraps! We are not wasteful here in Sally's Angelworks...no sireebob!! LOVE!!!
Here are a couple closeups:
And how about something for that hard to buy for person?
Check this out:
It's a little mini quilt with the stocking open on top perfect for slipping in candy or a gift card or two or three!! You can wrap it in a sweet little box and surprise them!! Perfect for a quilter, too!! Who wouldn't want a little mini quilt filled with goodies???? (You can fill it with little pieces of coal if you need to...just sayin'!!)

So every party needs party favors and I have my share of them, compliments of Amanda Herring with the Quilted Fish!!
You can take this kit...
and you can make this:
{ring not included}
adorable, right????
Well, you'll never guess, but I have 12 of these mini kits to giveaway!!
But wait...there's more!!
You know that last week, I spent a good amount of time with my darling friend, Julie over at the Intrepid Thread! And while we were talking through things (our blogs, religion, sci-fi...you know, all the important things girls talk about!!), we came up with the idea of doing a VLOG. A video tutorial just for YOU!!! And we did it!! When I got home, I put it all together and uploaded it last night on YouTube just for you to watch!! And so when you win one of these little kits, you can actually make it immediately after watching Julie's phenomenal instructions (and my giggling!!)!! yay!!
Here it is just for you!
bottlecap pin cushion ring tutorial
So here's the deal...wait...I've got something else to give away!!! oh yeah, baby!!
I'm soooooo super excited about this fabric line that I'm giving away a ROLIE POLIE from Julie's store:
NOW, the giveaway rules:
You have TWO chances to enter!!
1. Leave a comment here on this post!!
2. Like my Facebook page and come back and leave a comment that you did it!!! Yay!!!
I will let random.org choose 13 people on Monday, OCTOBER 24th to whom I'll give all of these party gifties!! yay!!!

One last thing before the party ends...
Amanda and her team have done a wonderful job preparing for this fun day!! I just wanted to make sure you know how to find other inspiration from the other team members!! Some are having parties on their blogs, some are partying in their homes, some are joining Amanda there in SLC for her big launch party!! Suffice it to say, you'll definitely be inspired if you join in on their blogs, too!! (names are clickable!!)

I'm soooo excited you joined me for my fun Delighted party today!! I hope you had as much fun as I did!! and for parting words, I thought today's verse of the day on Bible Gateway was super appropriate and providential:
{Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires!}
do you think that applies to cupcakes? I definitely do!!
blessings to you today!!!
awesome, awesome job!!!! Love the centerpiece too - thanks for the nice plug!!!
Hugs!!!!

Wow. Look at all those goodies you've made. I LOVE the potholder and the mini quilt stocking is such a cute idea to make and fill with a few goodies for hubby to take to work for the people in his area. The table topper is by far my favorite though. LOVE IT! Amanda has really done a great job creating Delighted. This is my favorite of hers to date and I really cannot wait to get some of my own.
Thanks for the great post and the video fun which I saw at Julie's blog.

Sweet! You gals really know how to have fun! How did you do your flower appliques? Do you needle-turn them? I like your little "sampler" - I've never done free-motion, do you use a different foot for that?
